World Read Aloud Day 2024
Fathers and men embracing the power of reading aloud
Welcome to our World Read Aloud Day page! We’re excited to invite you to join us in celebrating the joy and importance of reading aloud. World Read Aloud Day is a global initiative that encourages people of all ages to come together and share the magic of stories through reading aloud. This World Read Aloud Day, RBI challenges all fathers and men at large to take the lead in reading aloud. Whether it’s reading to your child, in front of your child’s class, or your child’s friend group.
Join our heartwarming challenge for fathers! We invite you to record a special moment of you reading to your children. Share this precious time on social media, and don’t forget to tag and follow our page on Facebook @bafokenginstitute. Use the hashtags #WRAD #RBIWRAD for your chance to win one of 5 book vouchers worth R1000 each. Let’s celebrate fatherhood and the joy of reading together!
Why?
Because at RBI we believe that fathers and men also have a critical role to play in the early and foundational development of their children and that they can also play a meaningful role in enhancing literacy skills and fostering a love of literature in their communities.
How RBI will be celebrating World Read Aloud Day?
